The Reading Room scented candle

The Reading Room

Step into the quiet elegance of Lanhydrock House, where towering bookshelves, polished oak and generations of leather-bound books create an atmosphere of timeless comfort. Inspired by one of Cornwall's finest country house libraries, The Reading Room celebrates the simple pleasure of slowing down and losing yourself in a good book.

The scent of aged leather mingles with polished wood, gentle wood smoke and warm tobacco, evoking the character of a well-loved library where every shelf tells a story. Soft light dances across antique furniture, the fire crackles gently in the hearth, and beyond the windows the Cornish countryside fades into the evening.

Rich, comforting and quietly sophisticated, The Reading Room transforms your home into a peaceful retreat. It is a fragrance for unhurried evenings, favourite armchairs and the timeless pleasure of turning another page.

Hand-poured in Cornwall using our premium soy wax blend, The Reading Room brings the warmth, heritage and quiet elegance of one of Cornwall's most treasured country houses into your home.
