Riverwick Botanicals was born in the riverside village of Calstock, nestled within the Tamar Valley in Cornwall. Surrounded by ancient woodland, winding country lanes, dramatic coastlines and historic gardens, inspiration is never far away.
Every collection begins with a place that has captured our imagination. A welcoming village pub where the fire burns all day. A headland glowing with golden gorse. A forgotten woodland path. The peaceful elegance of a country house library.
These places become fragrances. They become wreaths. Most of all, they become stories to bring into your home.
Meet Mikaela
Riverwick Botanicals began with a simple idea: to capture the places that have meant the most to me and share them with others through fragrance and botanical design.
I live in the beautiful village of Calstock, nestled on the banks of the River Tamar in Cornwall. Every day I'm surrounded by landscapes that inspire me, from ancient woodlands and winding country lanes to dramatic coastlines, historic gardens and welcoming village pubs. These places have shaped my love of nature and become the heart of every Riverwick collection.
Life has a wonderful way of shaping us. Through its changing seasons, joyful moments and unexpected challenges, we begin to appreciate the places that bring us peace, the memories that stay with us and the simple rituals that make a house feel like home. For me, Cornwall has always been that place. Its landscapes, history and changing seasons continue to inspire not only what I create, but how I choose to live.
Every Riverwick candle and wreath begins with a story. Whether it's the quiet beauty of Danescombe Woods, the warmth of a fireside in a village pub, the elegance of a historic garden or the wild freedom of the Cornish coast, each collection is inspired by a place that has captured my heart.
Everything is thoughtfully designed and handcrafted in small batches here in Cornwall using carefully chosen materials, with the hope that each piece brings warmth, beauty and a sense of connection into your own home.
